Boeing company, the leading aircraft franchise along with the world’s largest commercial aviation leasing and financing company GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) sparked some media attention with their attendance at the 53rd annual Paris air show, on June 19, 2017 in Le Bourget, France. Reports explain how NYSE: BA and NYSE: GE publicized that they were altering their existing deal converting 20 737 Max orders to the newer, bigger, better 737 Max 10’s. The President and Chief Executive Officer of GECAS, Alec Burger, provides his view on the deal saying,

“This 737 Max 10 order further enhances our fleet with the newest technology, offering our costumer commonality along with increased range and available seating”.

Economically the Max 10 will help airlines thrive due to

“Combining the increased capacity of the 737 Max 10 and the CFM International LEAP-1B engines offering our customers many benefits”.

The Max 10 will be the airline’s most lucrative single-aisle airplane.

Over two-hundred and thirty orders have said to have been place for the purchase of Boeings new Max 10’s by only 10 customers (including GECAS) and with advanced technology, innovated winglets and a bigger better engine the Max 10 airplane, being the 4th generation to is predecessors, will be the best of its class. So, far Boeing’s announced customers contain the following:

Aviation Capital Group, BOC Aviation, GE Capital, CDB Aviation, TUI Group, Tibet Financial Leasing, SpaceJet, Lion Air Group, Okay Airways, China Aircraft Leasing Group, United Airlines, Donghai Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Copa Airlines.

The Max 10 has a cruising speed up to 523.19 mph (842 km/h) and with its new stylish winglets, which are unlike any other on the market allow for a natural laminar flow while bringing the greatest influence to refining fuel efficiency of any winglet. This innovative winglet design along with the CFM International LEAP-1B provide reduction in noise, carbon and NOx emission. The refined engine and winglets alone greatly helped in contributing to the Max 10’s advancement in rage with the ability of reaching up to 3215 nmi. Providing airlines the ability to bring new diverse locations to their map.
